Welcome to Beginner HIIT Pilates — a virtual fitness class built for real people at every stage of their journey. Whether you haven't worked out in years or you're looking for something new, this is a space where you can show up exactly as you are.
This is one complete class that uses the energy of HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) with the control, alignment, and core focus of Pilates built right in. The result is a workout that gets your heart rate up while training your body to move with intention. Every exercise comes with modifications so you can go at your own pace — and push yourself when you're ready. No intimidation, no judgement. Just good coaching, great music, and a workout that actually feels good.
About Me
In 2012, I changed my life. In 2020, cancer tried to take it.
Here’s what I learned: you don’t train to avoid getting sick — you train to be strong enough to get through it.
Most people think transformation requires extreme effort. The truth? It’s the basics done right: sleep, hydration, proper nutrition, consistent movement, and the mental reframing that turns obstacles into armour.
I’m Shane — certified HIIT instructor, adventure racer, cancer survivor, and founder of Beginner HIIT Pilates. I live what I teach. I’ve helped people go from gym-intimidated to race-ready, from stuck to unstoppable.
I created this class for people who want to feel better but may not have access to — or desire for — traditional gyms. Whether you’re just starting out, getting back into fitness after a long break, or prefer working out from home, this class is built for you.
My approach grounds high-intensity training in Pilates principles: core engagement, controlled movement, proper alignment. Challenging, but never reckless. Safe, but never soft.
The difference between staying stuck and breaking through isn’t talent or genetics — it’s showing up, being consistent, and trusting the process.
