Below is the full Saturday-morning walkthrough — what you'll see when you log into Zoom, what an hour of class actually feels like, and what to bring. If you're still deciding whether live online classes are the right format for you, that page covers the comparison vs. apps, on-demand videos, and gyms. Otherwise, scroll on.
The Class
When: Every Saturday · 10:00 AM ET
Duration: ~1 hour
Platform: Live on Zoom
Beginner HIIT Pilates is a single, complete workout that brings Pilates principles into a HIIT format. That means you're getting the cardio and calorie burn of high-intensity intervals, but every movement is grounded in core engagement, controlled form, and proper alignment. It's not two separate workouts back to back — it's one class designed to help you move with power and intention.
Each session starts with a 10-minute warm-up with music and stretching, moves into a 45-minute workout, and wraps up with a cool-down and optional Q&A. Every exercise has modifications — scale it down if you need to, or add weights and depth to challenge yourself. There's no wrong way to do it as long as you're moving.
Here's what your first Saturday with us actually feels like, minute by minute.
9:55 AM ET — You join the Zoom. The link is in your confirmation email. Click it from your laptop, tablet, or phone. No Zoom account needed; the browser version works fine. You'll see a small group of faces (most students keep their camera on, but yours is always optional). I'll greet you by name when you join.
10:00 AM — We start with a 10-minute warm-up. Music up, mobility flow, dynamic stretches to wake everything up. This is the part where most first-timers tell me they realized "I can actually do this." I cue everything verbally so you can follow without staring at the screen.
10:10 AM — The 45-minute workout. HIIT-style intervals built around Pilates fundamentals. Work intervals run 30 to 45 seconds with short rest in between. The on-screen timer counts down each interval so you always know what's coming. Every move has a modification on offer — you'll see the full version and the modified version demonstrated, and you pick what's right for your body that morning. No judgement either way.
10:55 AM — Cool-down and stretch. A few minutes to bring the heart rate down, work some long stretches, and reset.
11:00 AM — Optional Q&A. If you have questions about form, technique, modifications, or anything else from class, I stick around for a few minutes to chat. No pressure to stay. If you do, mics on or off, your call.
That's it. One hour, one class, one rhythm. Most students tell me that by week three or four, it's the part of their Saturday they look forward to most.
